This intensive workshop explores the impact of generational trauma on identity, relationships, attachment patterns and mental health in general. Participants will develop clinical skills for recognizing and treating inherited trauma patterns using psychodrama, sociometry, role theory and trauma informed practices. Through lecture, discussion and experiential action methods, clinicians will learn how to safely explore family history, cultural trauma and systemic influences while supporting client resilience to break through long held familial patterns.
About the Event:
Our summer intensive invites mental health professionals to delve into psychodrama, a powerful therapeutic method developed by Jacob Levi Moreno. Psychodrama involves enacting scenes from life, dreams, or fantasies to uncover unexpressed feelings, gain insights, and explore new behaviors. It taps into the innate creativity and spontaneity we all have, helping participants reconnect with their sense of wonder and imagination.
